Induction Junction

Finally, the post New Year's Diet begins. I lost 10 pounds in November, but put it all back on - and more - since then. I have had past success on the Atkins Diet, having dropped 65 pounds in less than a year a couple of years ago. I'm back on it today and so far, I've had bacon and eggs, and hamburger patties. And cheese, glorious cheese. Six year old Cheddar from Brennan's in Madison, Wisconsin. Sharp Cheddar so old it loses some of the sharpness and starts to crystallize. Delicious.

I plan on giving a weekly update as to pounds lost every Monday. I'd like to drop another 50 pounds this year...4 pounds a month - if you have it to lose like I do - is a do-able goal, I think. I tend to drop it very quickly, and this time I am joining the YMCA which is right down the street...
